Samuel Smith

Samuel R. Smith, 77, of Little Rock, died Friday, July 15, 2016. He was born October 9, 1938 in Pine Bluff, son of P.A. and L. Marie Smith. Sam was reared and received his early education in Pine Bluff and North Little Rock. He worked with his parents at Camp Aldersgate in Little Rock. Sam was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ben R. Smith and Carroll Smith Jarnagin. Survivors include his sister, Sue Smith Tanner of Hot Springs Village; and two nephews, Gary Tanner of Newport News, Virginia and Scott Tanner of Little Rock. A memorial graveside service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Graceland Cemetery in Pine Bluff with Reverend George Tanner officiating by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors of Pine Bluff.
