Wade Clinton Kreie, 65, passed away Sunday, September 4 in his home in Little Rock, Ark. after a 9-year battle with Parkinson's Disease. Wade was born November 4, 1950 in Syracuse, Kansas to Jack Conrad and Mary Jo (Newlin) Kreie. In 1969, Wade graduated from Fayetteville High School in Arkansas. He then attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville while working as a freelance photographer and in the photo department of Collier's Drug Store. In 1981, Wade began working for Olympus Corporation in St. Louis, Missouri, until 1983, when he moved to Little Rock, Ark. to begin working for Canon Camera & Video. During his 31 year career with Canon, Wade received numerous awards and recognition for his outstanding performance as a Sales Representative. Wade enjoyed swimming, tennis, and golf in his free time, and will be remembered by his family and many friends for his kindness, dedication, and sharp sense of humor. Wade is survived by his wife of 34 years, Necole (Krueger) Kreie of Benton, Ark.; children, Clinton (Abigail) Kreie, Alex (Elisa) Kreie, and Tori (Rodrigo) Sanchez; four grandchildren, Piper, Calvin, Aria, and Owen; sisters, Deborah (Jean) Kreie Camacho of Nashville, Tenn., Jennifer Kreie of Las Cruces, N.M., and Beverly Kreie of Las Cruces, N.M.; and father- and mother-in-law, Ron and Russlynn Krueger of Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 17 in the sanctuary at Henderson United Methodist Church in Little Rock with a celebration of life immediately following in the Family Life Center. Lunch will be provided by the UMW. An additional reception will take place in West Fork, Ark. on October 1 at a private home at 11 a.m. Wade will laid to rest near his parents on top of the mountain on which he grew up.
