Garel L. McKiever, age 69 of Monticello, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017 at St. Michaels Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. He is survived by one son, Bret McKiever and one daughter, Stacy McKiever Jane. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
