Ina Ellington, 62, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. She was born July 9, 1955 in Nazca, Peru. For years, Ina cooked and volunteered at the Samaritan House in Rogers, considering the people there her family and friends. Ina had a heart for Jesus, never meeting a stranger. While she enjoyed sharing her soups and tamales with the sick, she was best known for her yellow chicken and green spaghetti.
She is survived by her children, Leyla Anderson, Floyd and Timothy Maloney; and her grandchildren, Drew, Mia, Payton, Makenna, Miles, Isabella, Caleb, and Maliya. Beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., until service time. Burial will be at Rogers Cemetery.
