Adair Crane Atkinson

Adair Crane Atkinson passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Aug. 13, 2017 at age 88. Born in Fort Smith, Ark., to Balfour Dorset Crane and Ruth McKinney Crane, she attended Fort Smith High School, Randolph-Macon College and the University of Arkansas where she met her husband, Joe Frank Atkinson. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Joe Atkinson, and her parents, Dorset and Ruth Crane. She is survived by her children Martha D'Anna, Jeff Atkinson (Fran) and Ruth Lee (Mike), seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and her dear cousin, Carolyn Starr. Her life will be celebrated on Aug. 26, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Kirk in the Pines Presbyterian Church in Hot Springs Village, Ark. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to Kirk in the Pines Presbyterian Church, Good Samaritan Society in Hot Springs Village or Teen Challenge.
