Mary Elizabeth Hewgley-Brown

Mary Elizabeth Hewgley-Brown, loving wife and mother passed away peacefully 8/20/2017, surrounded by family. She was born 12/25/1926 in Rose City, Arkansas. After graduating from North Little Rock High she worked for Fones Brothers Hardware and Reynolds Aluminum. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, worked for SDA Disaster Relief and served as the church clerk. Mary Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Turner and Ethyl Hewgley; brother, Carl Hewgley; son, Daniel Brown and granddaughter Leeann Kelly Brown. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 70 years, Leroy A. Brown; sons, Joel and Timothy Brown; daughter Lori Brown Gasaway; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mary Elizabeth will be missed by all who knew her and treasured her deeply. Services to celebrate her life will be Monday, 8/28/2017 at 10 a.m. at the Benton Seventh Day Adventist Church.
