Raymond J Rice

Raymond J. Rice of Little Rock, Arkansas, was born November 5, 1934 in Banks, Arkansas, the son of the late Henry Beacher and Minnie Jane Bowlin Rice. He had served in the US Army. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering with motors and growing lemon bushes. Mr. Rice died Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Hospice Home Care at the age of 83. He was preceded in death by his parents and 9 siblings. Survivors: wife, Margaret Jackson Rice of Little Rock; daughters, Emma and husband Bob Warner of Little Rock, Margie and husband Steve Wheetley of East End, Julie and husband John Kimmer of Shreveport, La., Joyce and husband Steve Partridge of Leola; sister, Virginia Marshall of Jacksonville; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Graveside services will be Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Prairie Bayou New DeRoche Cemetery in Hot Spring County.
