Tommie "Momma" Byrd

Mrs. Tommie "Momma" Byrd, age 100, of Spring Hill, Arkansas passed away Monday, February 20, 2017, in a local hospital. She was born in Dickens, Texas on February 14, 1917 to Tom and Ida Magnolia Evans Epting. She was a retired real estate broker and a member of Spring Hill United Methodist Church in Spring Hill. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, of 71 years, Bill Byrd, Sr, a son, Jim Byrd, two brothers and one sister. Survivors include; a son; Bill Byrd Jr., wife, Norma of Hope, a daughter-in-law, Mary Byrd of Spring Hill, five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home 1001 South Main St. Hope, Ark. A Memorial Service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Rev. Ron Eldridge will officiate the service.
