Ronald G. Lloyd

Ronald G. Lloyd, 76 of Selma passed away Tuesday Jan. 3, 2017 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. He was employed by Missouri Pacific and Union Pacific Railroad from 1959 to 1987. He retired early due to health issues. He then pursued his much loved hobbies with quarter horses and training border collie dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Mary Bell Lloyd; two sisters, Mary Catherine Lloyd Vardaman, Joann Wynne; and twin brothers, Jim Hopkins and Jerry Hopkins. He is survived by his wife, Annie R. Lloyd of Selma; two brothers, Leon Lloyd (Sandra) of McGehee, Charles Lloyd of McGehee; sister, Martha Sue Collins (Warren) of Oklahoma City, Okla.; sister-in law Alpha Hopkins of White Hall. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the McGehee First Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Monday at Chambersville Cemetery near Fordyce, Ark. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Enon Baptist Church of Monticello or Arkansas Heart Hospital.
