Veodis Johnny Allmon

VEODIS J. ALLMON of Little Rock, Ark., was born Oct. 14, 1929 in Tarry, Ark. to the late Issac Allmon Sr. and Virginia Wright. Veodis was called to rest on Jan. 5, 2017. He will be missed by all, especially his loving family and many friends. Veodis was preceded in death by two very special people, his faithful and loving wife, Erma Allmon; and a loving son, Richard V. Allmon Sr. Veodis and Erma leave seven children to cherish his memories; Lawrence Allmon (Carolyn), Cynthia Woods (James), Gregory Allmon (Belva), Carol Watson (Eddie), Charlotte Allmon, Terry Connor (Nick) and Tracy Jemerson (Anthony). All services will be held at First Baptist Church, 901 Calhoun Street, Little Rock, Ark. Visitation: Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, 5:30–6:30 p.m., Home going celebration services Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow with honors at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 Maryland Ave., NLR, Ark.
