Nola O Stroud

Nola O. Stroud was born August 31, 1913 in Una, Ark. a daughter to Clevy Hall and Nancy Hardster Hall. She went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the age of 103. Mrs. Stroud was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved to raise flowers, quilt and can her vegetables out of her garden. She cooked for over 23 years at Scotland Senior Center. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Velmon Stroud, infant son, son-in-law; daughter-in-law; great-grandson; great-great-granddaughter; six brothers and two sisters-in-law. She is survived by six children: Merray (Rebecca) Stroud of Lefors, Texas; Royce (Edith) Stroud of Little Rock; Gary (Sue) Stroud of Midwest City, Okla.; Jerlene Bruton, Aletta Stroud and Bonetta Stroud all of Little Rock; Sister: Ola May Moffatt of San Marco, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren along with other family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, January 28, at 1 p.m. with services starting at 2 p.m. at New Liberty Church of Christ between Cleveland and Scotland. Interment will follow in Foster Cemetery.
