Louie F. Wilson

Louie F. Wilson, age 79 of Caney, Ark., died Saturday Jan. 28, 2017. He was born Dec. 13, 1937, the son of Roy and Leeoma Allen Wilson in Lambert, Ark. Louie was retired from the Hot Spring County Road Dept. and a member of Caney Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Estelle Wilson, and two brothers, Leon and Clovis Wilson. Survivors include , one son, Stephen Wilson, of Caney, one daughter, Linda Thompson (Paul), of Springdale; two brothers, W. T. "Pete" Wilson (Carolyn) and James E. Wilson (Ann); four sisters, Imogene Weatherford (Roy), Joy Corley (Vester), Carolyn Thomas, and Zola Willis (Jimmy); and two grandchildren, Holly Wilson Hughes (Jonathan) and Jordan Thompson. Visitation will be Tuesday Jan. 31, at 12:30 at Caney Missionary Baptist Church, followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. with bro. Ralph Ruffin officiating. Burial will be in the Burnett Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David and Scott Cagle, Mike Rucker, Wayne Weatherford, Jonathan Hughes and Todd Corley. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Rogers, Jack Hennesse, J.C.
