Alice "Faye" Lanier

Alice "Faye" Lanier, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, formerly of Senatobia, Miss., passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the age of 71. Faye lived a beautiful life, centered around her family and bringing others joy. She loved all, and reaped what she sowed. Her community was a major part of her life, serving as an EMT, county clerk, and city clerk for over 25 years. Faye touched many lives and will be missed by all she knew. Ms. Lanier is survived by her daughter, Shannon Grimsley, her sisters, Mary and Patti Lovett, her brother, James Lovett, and her grandson, Nicholas Grimsley. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Valley Ranch Nursing Home and the nurses at Baptist Hospital, Little Rock, Ark., in ICU South and on the 10th floor. Visitation will be held at Pate-Jones Funeral Home from 2 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. on Friday, July 7. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Senatobia Memorial Cemetery.
