James Kennerly Ellis, 87, Benton died Sunday June 18, 2017, He was born August 5, 1929 in Thornton, Arkansas. James was retired from Alcoa, a US Army Veteran serving in the Korean War, and a Mason. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and served as a Deacon for many years. Survivors, brothers, C.B. (Lum) Ellis, (Donna), Kenner, Louisiana; Buster Ellis (Lois), Dallas; several cousins.
