Coleman Howard Lambert, 71, of Little Rock, Ark., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 4, 2017. Coleman was born on November 9, 1945 to the late James Houston and Clarice Gregory Lambert in Bearden, Ark. He retired from ATT Teletype after 30 years and later ran his own transportation business until retiring in 2015. Coleman loved the Lord and was a Deacon at Full Counsel Metro Church in N.L.R., Ark. He was a loving husband, brother, father, and uncle was known for his sense of humor and big heart. He was an avid tennis player and hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother-in-law Lois and Price King, special niece and nephew James and Gloria Waller. Left with loving memories to cherished are his wife of 50 years, Edith Davis Lambert, daughters Sheree R. Lambert and Kristi Y. Lambert, special daughter Tami D. Murry, all of Little Rock, Ark. brother James Lamar (Pearl) Lambert of Pine Bluff, Ark., Goddaughters Tracey A. Higgins, Kimbreana L. Murry, Ashley R. Murry, Lynnsey Murry (Keevan) Evans, surrogate grand-children, Adriana and Ashton Murry, Mason, Keevan Jr., and Keelyn Evans, all of Little Rock, Ark. and a host of brothers and sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, each with whom he had his own special individual relationship. The family hour will be held Friday, March 10, 2017 at New Millennium Church, 21 Lakeshore Drive, Little Rock, Ark. 72204 from 6-7 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Full Counsel Metro Church, N.L.R. 72114 at 12 noon.
