She was preceded in death by: husband, Johnny Gibson; parents, Annie Mae Simmons and Norman Nicholson; brothers, Leonard Simmons, Jessie Hornes, Otis Simmons, Willie Hornes, Leon Spearman, James Spearman, and Larry Spearman. She leaves to cherish her memories: children, Allen Hill, Jermaine Simmons, Charles Foote Jr. Makesia Hinton, Seneca Simmons; siblings, Russell Simmons, Nancey Horne, Mablean Simmons, Dorothy Spearman, Shirley Simmons, Brenda Olive, Charles Simmons, Marilyn Phillips, Shapan Green, Brent (Brenda) Nicholson, Larry (Latonia) Jones, Donnie Jones, Deric (Lozella) Colclough, Angie Richardson, Darren (Erica) Nicholson, Leretta (Anthony) Cage; 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
