Charlye Woodard, 63, of Little Rock, peacefully transitioned to Glory on Monday, July 30, 2018, surrounded by family. She was born on December 14, 1954 to the late Reverend C.L. and Geraldine Washington in Gould, Arkansas, where she began serving Christ at an early age. Pastor Charlye dedicated her life to Christ and accepted her call, founding ChristCom Ministries, whose mission was to minister healing and restoration to the Body of Christ. CCM eventually transitioned to ChristCom Church in 2005, and Pastor C, along with her beloved husband, Pastor Fred Woodard served as the shepherds to many. Fred preceded her to Heaven in 2014: she was also preceded by her sister, Ora Bea Washington; and brothers, Evester, James and Howard Washington. Remaining here on earth to honor her life and continue her legacy are: her children, Cedrick Crawford (Lauren), Desirae "Dee Dee" Holmes, and Angelica Holmes; her granddaughter, Kasey Crawford; and her siblings, Zeophia Washington, Johnie Lee Washington, Erna Washington Frasier (Howard), Iownia Washington Lewis, and Sheila Washington; along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends who cherished her. Pastor Charlye's impact was vast; she served as a mentor, confidante, prayer partner and spiritual mother to many. She was a "General of Faith" in three inch-heels and the seeds she planted will continue to bear fruit. The Homegoing Celebration will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 6, 2018 at the Agape Church, 701 Napa Valley Dr. in Little Rock. Interment will follow at Arkansas Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester Street, Little Rock, Ark. (501) 372-1305.
