Davine Joyce Summers

DAVINE JOYCE SUMMERS, 71, of Jacksonville, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2018 in Jacksonville. She was born Nov. 16, 1946 in Mesa, Ariz., to the late Frank and Edna J. Agnew Abbott. Mrs. Summers was a homemaker. She was a very hard worker and always put her family first. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Summers was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Abbott. Mrs. Summers is survived by her husband of 54 years, Everett L. Summers; children, Robert D. Summers of Apache Junction, Ariz., Sherry D. Higgins of Jacksonville and Glen L. Summers of Little Rock; grandchildren, Rodney Mudder, Randy Higgins and Megan Summers; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Kayla Mudder; siblings, Frances Sinor, Wanda Abbott, Shirley Lane, Jerol Abbott, Sherman Abbott, Buel Abbott, Donna Abbott and Timothy Abbott. Memorial services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior.
