Darrell Thomas

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darrell Hamilton Thomas of Royal who at age 61 is now reunited with his parents and friends. Hamilton was blessed with a unique natural vitality, and was known not only for his expressions of compassion, but an infectious joy he could bring to social gatherings. A master storyteller who was rarely at an imaginative loss, he never let things get boring, hence his long list of friends. He was a student at the University of Central Arkansas, a member of the Phi Lambda Chi Fraternity, the Austin TX Realtors Association, and Piney Grove United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Darrell Huston and Maragret Thomas. Those left to cherish his memory inclue his devoted wife, Sandy Thomas; his daughters, Bonnie, Bailey,and Bevin Thomas; his siblings, Michael Thomas (Sandy), Debra Roewe (John), Patrick Thomas (Dawn), and many beloved nieces and nephews as well as dear family friends. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. August 8,, 2018 at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 2801 Asher Ave., Little Rock, Arkansas with Pastor Scott Gallimore officiating.
