Sharon Kay McCuan

Sharon Kay McCuan passed away peacefully at the age of 60 on Friday, August 10, 2018 at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs. She was born September 15, 1957 to Melville and Lucille Kinney. She graduated from North Little Rock Northeast High School in 1975, and earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Arkansas Tech University in 1979. In 1982 she began working as a driver at UPS in Searcy, one of only a few women in the company to do so at the time. She would go on to become a Center Manager, loved and respected by those she worked with, and retired in 2012. Kay loved to travel, loved to cook, and loved to laugh. She could always find the humor when it was hardest to. To her nieces and nephews she was Aunt Kay, to her employees "Momma," and to everyone who knew her, a fun, loving, strong woman. She is survived by her husband Rodger, son Colton, brother Reggie, and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe on Saturday, August 18 at 2:00PM.
