Laversa Lou Henslee

LAVERSA LOU HENSLEE, 84, of Sherwood, passed away on August 16, 2018. She was born on September 30, 1933 to the late Robert Woodson and Marie (McDonald) Johnson in Corning, Arkansas. Lou was a longtime member of Park Hill Baptist Church and served 30 years in the Cabot Public School System. Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Larry F. Henslee, Sr.; daughter, Vicki Flynn of North Little Rock; sons, James Flynn (Leslie) of McKinney. Texas; Robert Flynn-Corwyn (Nancy) of Little Rock; Gary Flynn (Donna) of Cabot; Jeffrey Flynn of Morton Grove, Illinois; son-in-law, Joe Slayton; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was very proud of every one of her grandchildren. Lou is preceded in death by her daughter Christi Slayton. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.
