Mary Ann Jones

MARY ANN JONES was born Nov. 25, 1927 at Dr. Shelby Atkinson's office which later became the current location of North Little Rock Funeral Home. Mary Ann always joked that she was born into this world and would leave it from the same location. Mary Ann is survived by her son, Ronnie Jones, her nieces Marsha Paulk and Linda Gibson, her grandchildren Julie Bishop and Dustin Jones, great-grandson Dakota Bishop, and great-nephew Jason Paulk. Mary Ann retired at the age of 90 from Jolly Dental. She worked not because she had to but because she enjoyed the people she worked with so much. Each and every person there held a special place in her heart. Her "other children" the Suttles and Kerrs were beloved to her as well. She attended St. Patrick Catholic Church and was immensely devoted to her faith, family and friends. Mary Ann's kind and giving nature was a blessing to everyone she encountered and she will be intensely missed. The family thanks the wonderful individuals from Kindred Health Services, Dr. Arpana Edala and her staff, and St. Vincent's North Little Rock who provided such care and comfort. A visitation will be held 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 27, 2018 with a Rosary to follow at 7 p.m. at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.
