Mary Ruth Peters Rayburn

MARY RUTH "PETERS" RAYBURN, age 87, of North Little Rock, Ark., passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2018. She was born Feb. 22, 1931 in Morrilton, Ark., a daughter of Carl Peters and Molly Gottsponer Peters. She was the widow of C. L. Rayburn. Mary was an administrative assistant with First Pyramid Life Insurance Company and a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church of North Little Rock. Survivors include her son, Dwight Rayburn (Judy); granddaughter, Stephanie Williams (Harold); two great-grandchildren, Drew and Kaleb Williams; and daughter-in-law, Kathy Rayburn. Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Pat Farish and Karolyn Sue Taylor and one son, Charles David Rayburn. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morrilton with Father Jack Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Morrilton.
