Shirley Sue Knight

Shirley Sue Knight, 80, of Jacksonville died Sunday, August 26, 2018 in Cabot. She was born November 6, 1937 in Marked Tree to the late Faye Nicholas and Bessie Mae McKinney Shown. Mrs. Knight was a longtime resident of Jacksonville and a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church. She attended nursing school in Jonesboro and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Edward Knight and sons, Michael and Mark Travis. Mrs. Knight is survived by her siblings, Elizabeth Joy Cox of Jacksonville, Dan T. Shown of Tuckerman and Joan Belt of San Antonio, Texas and two grandsons. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park under the direction of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136.
