Gary Wayne Hargrove

Gary Wayne Hargrove, age 70, of Springboro, Ohio, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at his home. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on August 15, 1948 to the late Elmer and Carrie (Wilkerson) Hargrove. He was employed with Southern Baptist Convention as a home missionary, where he retired in 1996. Afterwards, he became a Chaplain with Baptist Health Medical Center. Gary attended North Little Rock High School, University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry O. Hargrove and former wife, Linda (Hughes) Hargrove. Gary is survived by his daughter, Jynnifer (Brian) Schlise; son, Jeremy Hargrove; grandson, Jered Pritchett; three granddaughters, Emily Schlise, Amanda Schlise and Sarah Schilse. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 1 at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Springboro, 60 E. North Street, Springboro, Ohio.
