Sally Jane O'Connor Streett, 89, died peacefully at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, Arkansas on Thursday, December 27, 2018. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 2, 1929, the third of five daughters to Robert Emmet and Frances Smith O'Connor. The family moved to Little Rock, Arkansas during Sally's childhood. She and her sisters attended Mt. St. Mary Academy where she graduated in 1947. In 1949, Sally married her high school sweetheart, Walter Garland Streett, who preceded her in death. Their union produced two children, Robert Michael Streett and Mary Kathleen ("NiNi") Herrmann. After devoting years to her roles of homemaker and loving mother, Sally established and operated "Poor Little Rich Girl" resale clothing shop in Little Rock's Hillcrest neighborhood. After successfully running this business for over 20 years, she volunteered at the Little Rock office of Habitat for Humanity. She also participated in their first Ladies' Build in the late 1990's. Sally lived her final few years at Presbyterian Village Retirement Center in Little Rock where she made many friends and served on several committees. Sally is also preceded by her parents; three sisters, Rose Marie "Rody" O' Dwyer of Detroit, Michigan, Aileen Frances Hill and Patricia Logan, both of Hot Springs, Arkansas. She is survived by her youngest sister Mickie Donohue of Evanston, Illinois. She is also survived by her two children, Mike Streett of Little Rock, Arkansas and NiNi Herrmann of St Louis, Missouri; her dear nephew, Pat O'Dwyer of Little Rock, Arkansas whom she raised since the age of five. Pat devoted his adult life to looking after Sally's needs and taking care of her. Other survivors include seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Nathan, Aura and Caitlin Streett, Madeline, Meredith and Sarajane Herrmann, all of Missouri;  eleven grandchildren; Will, Austin, Mason, Bella, Archer, Coleson, Waylon, Sloan, Miller, Willa and Talia. She also is survived by a host of nieces and nephews too numerous to mention by name. She was loved and well-respected by many friends in the Little Rock area. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but all are grateful that she is now at peace. An informal memorial service will be held in the chapel at Presbyterian Village, 500 Brookside Drive, in Little Rock, Ark., at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019.
