Camilla Ermagene "Gene" Burkett Weaver

Camilla Ermagene "Gene" Burkett Weaver, 85, died on Jan. 12, 2018, in Little Rock, Ark. She was born in England, Ark., to Homer and Esther Burkett on Jan. 20, 1932. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church of England, Ark., and worked at the Munro Shoe Factory in England. Gene loved to do home improvement projects, work in her yard, going to flea markets with her granddaughter Kristy, and loved her family very much and always put her family first. She was a hard working, strong-willed independent woman, a fighter with a beautiful gentle spirit. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clayton "Doc" Levell Weaver, daughter Polly Ann Weaver, brother Franklin Burkett, sisters Lois Burkett Phillips, Joan Burkett, Johnnie Lee Burkett, and son-in-law Dearl Alderman. Mrs. Weaver is survived by her son Lonnie Levell Weaver, and daughter Gena Kay Alderman both of England, Ark. Also, brothers Melvin Burkett England Ark., Kenneth Burkett, Star City, Ark., and Marckus Burkett of England, Ark., grandchildren Sherry, Kristy, and Katy, great-grandchildren Logan and April, and great-great-grandson Lane. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Jan. 16, 2018, with Funeral Service Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, at 2 p.m., both at Wilson Robison Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mulberry Cemetery of England. Wilson Robison funeral Home of England, Ark., in charge of the arrangements.
