Earnestine McGinty

Earnestine McGinty, age 84, of Bryant, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at her home. She was born June 8, 1934. Bill & Earnestine founded and owned B.R. McGinty Mechanical Contractors serving their customers for 48 years. She was a member of Geyer Springs 1st Baptist Church. She is a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband B.R. McGinty, her oldest son, Wayne McGinty, her granddaughter, Amy McGinty Grenier, and her parents, Corbet & Velma Dodson. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Donna and J.W. Pennington, son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Linda McGinty, daughter-in-law, Jerrye McGinty, grandchildren, Amanda Newman and husband Brad, Jennifer Russell and husband Justin, Brady Snellings, Matt McGinty and wife Lyndsy, Jeremy McGinty and wife Jessica, great-grandchildren, Lenzie and Lexie Newman, Keegan, Garrett, and Easton Snellings, Ethan and Macy McGinty, Carter and Cash Russell, Benaiah Grenier, Bo and Ty McGinty, Blake and Hunter Pennington. Survivors also include sisters Mildred Oxenrider, Rachel Ferguson, and Wanda Wright. Service will be held at Ashby Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Saturday July 7, 2018 with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Pastor Dave Hughey of Geyer Springs 1st Baptist Church will officiate.
