Ruby Arlene Tarr, age 85, of Searcy went to be with the Lord May 31, 2018. She was the second of three children of Eulis H. Wolfe and Alice Irene (Ruby) Wolfe where she grew up on a small dairy and crop farm in Southeastern Iowa. Arlene spent her life exhibiting Christian love and grace to everyone around her. Her kindness and soft-spoken ways were a comfort to all who met her. She later went to business school and spent many years in office environments. She married Jack Tarr later in life and they spent their years together in the orchard business, growing peaches, apples, grapes and okra at their farm located off of highway 5 near El Paso, Ark. In retirement, she and Jack bought an RV and worked for the Arkansas State Parks and welcomed visitors to their campsites. The last several years had been spent quietly with Jack living at The Harding Place in Searcy and following his death, Arlene lived at the Searcy Health and Rehab Center in memory care. Arlene spent her life preparing for her reunion with her Lord Jesus Christ. Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Tarr, her parents, Eulis and Alice, her older sister, Ruth Brower (Vernon) and younger brother, Arlan Wolfe. She is survived by her nephew, Gregory Brower (Cathy) and niece, Mary Alice Drumheller (Tommy), their children, and many of Jack's children and their families. Memorials should be made to Alzheimers and Dementia research in lieu of flowers or money. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
