Mary Headrick Mattingly

Mary Headrick Mattingly, 94, of Little Rock, passed away June 3, 2018. She was a longtime member of Christ the King Catholic Church and was a secretary for the Catholic Diocese Tribunal. Preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Jessie Frost Headrick, and her husband, Johnson S. "Matt" Mattingly, she is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Mattingly (Douglas A. Carson) of Anchorage, Alaska; sons, Ted A. Mattingly (Carol Ann) of Texarkana, Texas and Don E. Mattingly (Virginia) of Plano, Texas; sister, Pat Adams of Dallas, Texas; special nieces, Nancy Cassat of Little Rock and Julie Adams of Dallas; two granddaughters, six grandsons, four great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters; and other family and friends. A Vigil Service will be held on Thursday, June 7 at 6 p.m., preceded by visitation beginning at 5 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4000 N. Rodney Parham. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, June 8 at 10 a.m. with Msgr. Francis I. Malone as Celebrant. Memorials may be made to the Msgr. Hebert Endowment Fund for Christ the King School, 4000 N.
