Deacon Javan (Kool Aid) Smith, 69 of Little Rock, Arkansas departed this life, Monday, June 25, 2018. He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer (Jarrod) Turner, nieces, nephew, cousins and friends. He retired from Philander Smith College after 30 years of service as a cook. He never met a stranger and he was always "Kool Aid".
