Willie Mae Milton

A native of Altheimer, Ark., born to the late Willie and Lula Bell Campbell, Willie Mae Milton, 87, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018. Early in her life, the family moved to Little Rock, Ark., where they joined Collins Temple Baptist Church and she became a devoted member for over 75 years. A graduate of Dunbar High School, she attended Arkansas AM&N College in Pine Bluff, Ark., thereafter. She was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Lula Bell Campbell; husband, Robert E. Milton, Jr.; son, Robert Allen Milton; brother, Spencer Lee Campbell; and two aunts, Mary Ella Johnson and Erma Moore. Her life will be celebrated by her surviving loved ones: daughters, Karen Buchanan (Olly Neal) and Denise Hudson; sons, E. Spencer Buchanan, Eugene Buchanan Jr., Kenneth Milton, Rickey Milton, and Roderick Milton; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren plus a host of cousins and dear friends. Visitation will be today from 1 til 6 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, located at 17th and State Street.
