Margie Hood Ladd

Margie Hood Ladd, 77 of Pine Bluff, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Born August 7, 1940 at Pine Bluff, she was a daughter of the late Cleveland and Virginia Hood. A woman of many hats, Mrs. Ladd helped with the family business, Ladd Appliance, but was a homemaker first and foremost. She loved her church families at both Centennial Fellowship and Christian Life Church. When she wasn't keeping everyone in line she absolutely loved to go fishing or host prayer meetings. She would prepare wonderful meals for the masses, afterwards everyone would settle in for a night of board and card games, as her greatest joys were family, friends and the Lord. Her other pastimes included reading a good book or two, or possibly getting in a game of Bridge. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Talmage Ladd; a son, William "Bob" McAllister-Ladd; and nine siblings. She is survived by her sons, Stephen, Allen (Elizabeth) and Scott Ladd (Vicky); daughters, Talma and Bonnie Marta Ladd; eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, eleven o'clock in the morning at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Brother Bill Kiggins and Brother Don Herring officiating.
