Felix Finton Moix Jr., 81, of Conway, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 30, 2018. He was born December 13, 1936 in Conway to the late Felix Moix Sr. and Christine Imboden Moix. Felix graduated from St. Joseph High School and was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was owner of Moix Carpets and Fans, Inc.; he also worked as a homebuilder and was a former employee of Hiegel Lumber Company. Felix served 22 years in the Arkansas Army National Guard and retired as 1st Lt. He was a proud 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Conway. Felix was a great father, brother, and husband to his family. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and traveling. He was a good dancer and loved to polka dance. He enjoyed making wine and was known for his grape stomping parties. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Catherine Moix, three sons, Charles Moix (Saddi), Donald Moix and Timothy Moix (Ruthy) all of Conway, grandchildren, Joshua, Rachel, Kimberly, Clarke, Shawn, Cory, and Alex Moix, four great-grandchildren, five sisters, Lucille Kordsmeier, Emogene Hofherr, Evelyn McKinnon, Loretta Madden, Carolyn Strack, brother, Herman Moix, daughter-in-law, Sandy Moix and many more family and friends. Felix is preceded in death by his parents, son, Alan Moix, brothers, Raymond, Edmund, Dennis, and Ralph Moix. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Home Instead Caregivers and Arkansas Hospice for their loving care. Instead of Flowers, the family requests donations are made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or St. Joseph School Endowment Fund. Rosary will be Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 7 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, November 5 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Entombment following at St. Joseph Mausoleum.
