Vivian Marcine Garlington

Vivian Marcine Pennington Garlington, 81, of Fordyce died Wednesday October 31, 2018 at Little Rock. Born September 27, 1937 in Dallas County, she was a daughter of the late Paul Pennington Sr. and Marie Jarrett Pennington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie S. Garlington. She was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church in Fordyce and worked in banking for many years. She is survived by her son, Mike Garlington and his wife, Mitzi of Fordyce; daughter, Jan Culp of Hot Springs; two brothers, Paul Pennington of Chambersville, Jerry Pennington of Pine Bluff; sister, Brenda Russell of Fordyce; three grandchildren, Cody Culp (Audrey) of Fordyce, Travis Garlington (Mary) of Conway, Cory Culp (Crystal) of Texarkana, Ark.; seven great-grandchildren, Owen and Sawyer Garlington, Cole, Carter, Tate, Drew, and Luke Culp and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 p.m. to 8: p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Stoney Point Cemetery with Rev.
