Lena Vernell Evans

Lena Vernell Evans, 85, of Cabot, passed away November 1, 2018. She was born August 12, 1933 in Romance, Arkansas to the late Raymond and Minnie Crossland Wiggs Vernell was a wonderful mother and very adventurous. She and Robert loved working together at many endeavors across the country. In addition to her parents, Vernell was preceded in death by three siblings, Dean Coston, Eulas Wiggs and Sue Whitney. Survivors include her husband of sixty-six years, Robert Evans; children, Ron, Jim, Dave and Pam Evans, Sandy Cooper; 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be private. The family would like to express a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Spring Creek Health and Rehabilitation in Cabot.
