Frances Clark Cady, 86, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, died Saturday, November 3, 2018. She was born August 29, 1932 in Pine Bluff, daughter of Luther and Clara Abbott Clark. Frances was reared and received her early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School. She married Charles Cady August 9, 1953 at Carr Memorial United Methodist Church in Pine Bluff. They lived in Memphis, Tennessee, Atlanta, Georgia and Davie, Florida. Frances was very active in the communities she called home and loved by all who came in contact with her. She was a counselor in the youth group at Willow United Methodist Church in Memphis, served in the altar guild and as worship chairman at her church in Atlanta and was active in the Chamber of Commerce in Davie, Florida. She was so loved in Davie that she was overwhelmingly voted the chairwoman of the Chamber of Commerce. Frances moved back to Pine Bluff in 1967 with her husband. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pine Bluff. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles Lee Cady, grandson, Matthew Cady; daughter-in-law, Mary Cady; and sister, Marian Huber. Survivors include her beloved husband of 65 years, Charles Cady of Pine Bluff; daughter, Beverly Cabaday (Paul) of Dandridge, Tennessee; son, Roy Cady (June) of Pine Bluff; brother, Edgar Clark of Conway; and three grandchildren, Nickolas Cakmis, Taylor Cady and Melissa Brown (Kenny). Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at First United Methodist Church with Reverend Mike Morey officiating. Interment will follow in Cypress Memorial Gardens by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Robinson's.
