James "Jim" M. Averitt

James "Jim" M. Averitt, 76, of Scott, Arkansas, passed away November 12, 2018, after a short illness. He is survived by his wife Jill, son Mart Averitt, daughters, Becky (Neil) Turner, Mandy Averitt (Jackie Clinton), as well as four grandchildren, Haley Averitt, Joshua Schmitt, Ben Turner and Avery Turner, sisters, Mary Frady and Charlotte Johnson. Jim was a Pharmacist and a member of the Levy Church of Christ. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock. Private burial will take place at a later date in Rest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to River City Ministries, 1021 E.
