James Brumback

James "Jim" Brumback, 72, of Little Rock, Ark. passed away Tuesday November 13th, 2018 at his home. A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday November 17th at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1101 N Mississippi St, Little Rock, Ark. 72207, with a visitation preceding from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Finley Jane Hirons. (P.O. Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis, Tenn. 38148). Jim was born on December 16th, 1945 in Keokuk, Iowa to Scott and Marie (Sigmund) Brumback. He graduated from Cardinal Stritch High School in 1964, attended St Benedictine College, and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He married Diann (Hunter) Richardson on March 31st, 1990. Jim was employed by Smurfit Stone of Little Rock for 45 years. He enjoyed hunting, working in his yard, and spending time with his family and many friends. Jim is survived by his wife Diann of the home; his daughters, Carolyn Hall of Panama City Beach, Fla.; Pam Schaffer and husband Paul of Cave Springs, Ark.; son, Brian Brumback and wife Ginny of Rogers, Ark.; stepsons Trent Richardson and wife Lois of Jonesboro, Ark.; Hunter Richardson and Barbara of Gravel Ridge, Ark.; and Todd Richardson and wife Sheris of Waverly, Tenn.; grandchildren, Leslie Drummond and husband Mason; Lynsie Madden and husband Kevin; Tessa Hall; and Cole Brumback; as well as many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and of course his beloved dog Sullivan.
