Fu Ju Yu Ma

Fu Ju Yu Ma died at home on Nov. 16, 2018. She was 95 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband and one granddaughter. She is survived by her three sons, William Ma of New York, Frank Ma of Fort Smith and James Ma of California and their spouses; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson. She lived through a turbulent time in China and survived pirates, civil wars and World War II. She started classes to teach the illiterate children while she was in school. She immigrated to the USA with her family in 1962. She was beloved by all who met her and will be sorely missed. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, 2018 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel.
