Roslynn Lee Tomlinson, 81, of Pine Bluff, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Nov. 21, 2018. She was born April 1, 1937, at North Shore Naval Hospital in San Diego, Calif., to David and Bertha Morris Russell. Roslynn graduated from Trussville High School in Alabama. She attended Auburn University where she received an Education Degree in 1959. In 1960 she moved to Fort Benning, Ga., where she taught school and met the love of her life Carey Gene Tomlinson. She loved her life as a military wife and having the opportunity to teach everywhere. They moved to Pine Bluff in 1978. Roslynn retired from the Dollarway School District. She was a member of Good Faith Carr United Methodist Church, had a love for golf and exercising at the Wellness Center! She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Tomlinson; her parents; sisters, Mildred Adamson, Adelene Grant, Marjorie Duke and a brother, David Russell. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Carey Gene Tomlinson; daughters, Cari (Jimmy) Foscue of Huntsville, Ala., Michelle (Michael) Mantuano of Little Rock; grandchildren, Kevin and Matt Taylor, Megan Riggins, Cali Foscue and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 p.m. with service following. Funeral service will be Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, at 1:30 p.m., Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Mr. Tommy Tomlinson officiating.
