Billy Wayne Williams

Billy Wayne Williams, 89, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on November 24th, 2018. He was born on August 6th, 1929 in Maynard, Arkansas to parents William Wayne and Mary Williams. Billy was an active member of the LRBAD and Woods Club. He married the love of his life, Linda, on December 23rd, 1961. He had a notoriously outgoing personality, loved to crack jokes and was just always fun to be around. Billy was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter: Christine Terrell; 3 sisters: Mary Williams, Lou Rogers, and Imogene Swaringin; two brothers: Douglas and Junior Williams; and 1 grandson: Terry Newingham. He is survived by the love of his life: Linda; 3 daughters: Dollie and Bobbie Williams and Mary Haddock; four siblings: Jonell Shumate, Barbara (Fletcher) Davis, John (Patricia) and Clovis (Beth) Williams; nine grandchildren: Ashley and Amanda Williams, David (Maria), and Tony (Samantha) Newingham, Shaun (Lindsay) Anderson, Andrew Allen, Casara (Ken) Latiolais, Emily (Matt) Middleton, and Krista (Kelly) Gideon, and 24 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 29th, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Pinecrest Funeral Home (7401 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander, Ark.). Funeral services will be held at the same location on the following day, Friday, November 30th, 2018 at 1 p.m. Billy will be laid to rest immediately after the service at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
