Rosemary Wilson, 87, of Hot Springs Village, died November 20, 2018. She was born November 27, 1930. The only child of Denver and Marietta Hudgens of Bardwell, Kentucky. When Rosemary was six years old, she and her mother moved to Alton, Illinois while her father served in the military. He was killed in action in 1943. Rosemary graduated Alton High School in 1949 and attended Ursuline Business School before working as a medical secretary at Alton Memorial Hospital. She married her high school sweetheart, John E. Wilson, in 1952. The couple first met in the third grade. Twelve years and three children later, Rosemary, John and sons, moved to Springfield, Missouri extending his career with the St. Louis-San Francisco Railway Company. As an only child, Rosemary thoroughly enjoyed motherhood and raising her three stair-step sons. She was thought of as the Ultimate 50's mother and wife. Her home was always filled with love and laughter. Rosemary and her husband moved to Hot Springs Village in 1993 to be near their sons, Steve Wilson (Victoria) and David E. Wilson (Monica) who reside in nearby Little Rock, Arkansas. The couple's middle son, Jeffrey, died in an automobile accident in 1985. It was a heart ache never far from her thoughts. Besides her husband, sons, and daughters-in-law, Rosemary is survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
