Gary Pitt Bond

Coach Gary Pitt "Blackie" Bond passed away at his home in Rogers, Arkansas surrounded by his family on November 24, 2018, after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Ozark, Arkansas to Pitt and Hester Law Bond on March 30, 1936. He is survived by his beloved wife Sara; two wonderful children, a son John and wife Jenny; and a daughter Lynn. He was fortunate to be Papa to three grandchildren, Mackenzie, Mallory and Brody; two brothers, Bobby Bond of Ozark and Vince Bond of Little Rock, and several nieces and nephews. "Blackie" loved his family, his God, his church, his football and his outdoor hobbies, fishing and hunting. Visitation Service will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday December 1, 2018. The Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 3364 West Pleasant Grove Road, Rogers. Private interment at Pinnacle Memorial Gardens, Rogers.
