Madeline Gorman

Madeline Jean Bottom Gorman, 69 of Pine Bluff, died, Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Born August 23, 1949 at Pine Bluff, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Guy Bottom and Virginia Faye Davis Worm. Reared and educated at White Hall, Madeline was a 1967 graduate of White Hall High School where she was a majorette and member of the marching band. A homemaker for many years, she was employed as a construction Safety Manager for nearly 20 years before retiring in 2016 from James Construction Group. Madeline was a fantastic cook and her green thumb could make anything grow. She loved ballroom dancing and listening to music, especially the live music at the "Music on Main" and other community-oriented events. She also enjoyed being on the White Hall High School All Years Alumni Group committee. She is survived by her daughter, Kady Skillen-Hill; step-daughters, Cassie Evatt (Will), Kira Earnest (Matt) and Audrey Strong; brothers, Guy Bottom (Diane) and Jerry Bottom (Laura); grandchildren, Emerson, Whiteaker, Layla and Anna; nieces, Amanda Post (Pat) and Adrian Nowakowski (John); and many other loving family and friends.
