Dalton Mayhair

Dalton Mayhair, 62, of Cabot, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Sept. 27, 2018 at his home. He was born May 9, 1956 in Milton, Fla., to the late James Franklin and Elmedia Brake Mayhair. Dalton served his country in the United States Army National Guard for eight years. He was owner/operator OTR for fifteen years and worked as a chemical supervisor at Imbicor Technologies in Maumelle for about 15 years. Dalton was head deacon at Roberson Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Mayhair; his sister, Glenda Mayhair; and son, Benjamin Adam Mayhair. Survivors include his wife, Ellie Mayhair; sons, Jonathan Dalton (Jennifer) Mayhair of McRae, Ark.; Timothy Franklin Mayhair of Milton, Fla.; Nicholas Brian (Paige) Mayhair of Pittsburg, Pa.; sisters, Linda (Jerry) Barnhill of Milton, Fla.; Opal Herrscher of Houston, Texas; brothers, James Franklin Mayhair Jr. of Milton, Fla.; David (Janice) Mayhair of Milton, Fla.; five grandchildren, Kadin, Easton, Braelyn, Laila and Harper; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and a loving church family. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 1, 2018 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Pastor A. B. Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
