Roy "Bud" H. Pearrow

Roy H. "Bud" Pearrow of Cabot, Ark., passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 2018. He was born Sept. 27, 1936 in Little Rock, Ark., to the late Roy H. Pearrow, Jr. and Lyda Belle Pearrow Merck. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Fred Merck, and his step-mother, Ann Reynolds Pearrow. Bud is survived by his wife, Carolyn Oates Pearrow; they were married in Little Rock, Ark., on Aug. 17, 1956. While at Arkansas State University, he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. Bud was employed for 39 years by International Graphics of Little Rock. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening and coaching softball. He and Carolyn spent many hours on the Square Dance floors, enjoying the fellowship of many good friends. Bud is also survived by son, Bill Pearrow and wife Lisa and granddaughter, Shea Pearrow of Cabot, Ark.; son, David Pearrow and wife Laura of Russellville, Ark.; daughter, Jeanne Odom and son-in-law Jack and grandchildren, Christen and Zane Estrada, Stephenie and Dalton Reeves, Micah Odom and Mark Odom of Cabot, Ark.; brother, Arthur Pearrow and wife PJ of Charlotte, Tex.; brother, Jon Pearrow and wife Sharon of Timbo, Ark.; brother, Glenn Pearrow of Lafayette, La.; and step-siblings, Peggy Posey and husband Bobby of Branson, Mo., Mitchell Reynolds and wife Marilyn of Winnsboro, La., and Jimmy Reynolds and wife Barbara of Calhoun, La. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staffs of Baptist Health Clinic in Cabot, Ark., UAMS Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging, and Arkansas Hospice Foundation for their loving care of Bud. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, NLR, Ark. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1 at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 AR-5, Alexander, Ark.
