Melissa Ann Evans, 17, passed away April 4, 2019. Her father James Friday Evans passed away about 10 years ago, she's gone to meet with her father who is waiting on her in heaven.
She is survived by her mother, Bonnie Sue Evans of Redfield; five sisters, Patricia Gilbert (Joe) of Jacksonville, Rojeana Bryan (Anthony) of Redfield, Elizabeth Carney (Matthew)of Jackson, Missouri, Deborah Hadley (Chris) of Mississippi, and Sandy Evans of Lonoke; brother, James Copeland of Redfield; and grandmother, Mary Copeland of Benton. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Bennie Mae White; her great- grandfather, Herbert Cloy Copeland; and grandfather, James Earl Copeland.
Visitation will be held 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.smithfamilycares.com.
