Hilda Higgs

Hilda Higgs, 93, of Conway, AR, went to be with the Lord Friday, April 5, 2019. She was born July 19, 1925 in Quitman, Ark. to the late Andrew and Ellie (Harris) Patterson. Hilda was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Thomas Higgs, son, Tommy Joe Higgs, son, Jerry Higgs, and grandson, Ricky Williams. Hilda was of the Baptist faith. She devoted her life to the Lord and her family. She enjoyed cooking homemade meals, gardening her flowers, and sewing quilts. Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, son, Mike Higgs, daughters, Faye Holloway, Connie Williams, Donna (Geoff) Terry; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and sisters, Maedean Deremer, Lena Martin, and Marilyn (Ted) Battles. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, April 8, 2019 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home with interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway, Ark.
