Mrs. Pamela "Pam" Thoman, age 58, of Keystone Heights passed away Monday, April 1, 2019, at Specialty Select Hospital in Gainesville. She was born February 5, 1961, in Colorado Springs, Colo., to the late Harvey and Phyllis (Cox) Manous. Pam graduated from Santa Fe College and worked many years as a LPN at Penney Farms, Windsor Manor and Bradford Terrace Nursing Homes and had also owned with her husband STUMPHEAD Stump Grinding for many years. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church, where she was involved with mission's work and Florida Baptist Disaster Relief. Pam loved traveling, going to the beach and taking care of her animals (especially her Dachshunds); she grew up simple but was a classy lady that was also known to work at her own pace. Pam leaves behind her dedicated and loving husband of 22 years, Grant Thoman of Keystone Heights; four children, Matthew Manous (Kim Peek) of Keystone Heights, Echo Peacock (Neal) of Seattle, Wash., Cathleana Thoman of Palatka and Angel Thoman (Adam Scott) of Pomona Park; three siblings, Karen Davidson (James "Bo"), Rhonda Russell and Ricky Manous (Evonne "Buffy"), all of Arkansas. Also left behind are eight grandchildren with one on the way, nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends. A memorial service for Pam will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2019, in the First Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Prose and Pastor Daniel Findley officiating.
